Peggy Crowley’s dual responsibilities at J Street include the tactical management of daily operations in her role as COO, and the structuring and coordination of transactions involving the purchase, finance, development and disposition of real estate assets. Since joining J Street as a founding principal in 2005, Peggy has been involved in all aspects of the firm’s property management, commercial and retail sales and leasing and development divisions and is a key strategist in the firm’s increasing presence in multifamily operations. Peggy has been instrumental in the execution of complex transactions for institutional quality clients; from shepherding a client through a reverse 1031 exchange process to guiding investor owners through complex rezoning processes and development opportunities.
Peggy is an active volunteer and former Board Member of Special Love, Inc. for children with cancer and a member of the Camp Maria Retreat Center Facilities Committee and former Board Member. Peggy previously served as Senior Director of Public Policy for The Catholic Health Organization of the United States, the nation’s largest group of not-for-profit health care sponsors, systems, and facilities. Peggy also held a number of key positions with Georgetown University Medical Center, including Associate Medical Center Counsel and Senior Operations Officer, where her scope of responsibilities included the management, coordination and direction of a broad scope of business, operational, financial and legal activities.
